Three other GNU packages, a2ps, enscript (which is also looking for a maintainer), and src-highlite, perform the same basic function of pretty-printing source files. So the goal here is probably to merge whatever unique functionality trueprint has with one of these other projects.
GNU Trueprint takes C source files and other text files and prints them on postscript printers. It is intended to be used by programmers and includes a wealth of features, including diff-marking, an indentation count, function and file indices, and many others that are useful when printing source code.
It currently supports C and has more limited support for other languages, including C++, Java and Perl.
GNU Trueprint can be found on http://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/trueprint/ or one of the mirrors.
